Terms and Conditions

You (customer) accepts the following Terms and Condition of Upohaar.com when placing an order and complete payment to receive a gift item service in Bangladesh:

  1. All the products and the price is shown on the website are regularly updated by Upohaar.com.
  2. Upohaar.com will not be responsible for any swap, change, exchange of any gift item after the recipient has signed and received the products.
  3. By registering at # and/or by placing and gift items order for Bangladesh, you authorize Upohaar to email you regular discounts and special offers. However, you may choose not to receive those emails by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ option in such email.
  4. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct address and contact details of the recipient. Upohaar is not responsible for delay in delivery or no show on delivery date and time due to wrong information in the order.
  5. We may organize a delivery before the payment is made under special circumstances. The customer is bound to complete payment within 7 days in such cases. Upohaar will contact the recipient to recover the cost of gift items if payment is not cleared within that time frame.
  6. Upohaar does not store any payment data on this site or on the server. All payments are processed by 3rd party payment gateway (Bkash, Rocket, Nagad and COD).
  7. Upohaar does not control the delivery date and time of a gift that goes overseas via EMS post. Our service for overseas shipping ends with providing shipping references to you.
  8. All credit card, bank deposit, and bKash payment process in Bangladesh are managed by BRAC Bank Ltd. You have to agree to BRAC Bank’s and bKash terms and conditions while using their payment gateway.
  9. We collect information that you provide when you place an order, register with us, send us an e-mail or call us. This information may include the following: Your name, Your mailing address, Your e-mail address, Your phone number. It may also include information you submit about other people; for example, the name and address (e-mail and postal) of a gift recipient. We only use the information to deliver your requested products or services. We do not share your information with third parties.
  10. We use technology that allows us to identify what type of browser you are using, the website from which you enter upohaar.com, and the pages you view as you tour our site. This technology helps us compile aggregated statistics about our online guests and their use of upohaar.com, which allows us to make improvements in design and content to better serve you. We use industry-standard Google Analytics for web traffic tracking.
  11. Upohaar.com uses cookies to provide features like a shopping cart and to determine when customers have previously visited our site. A cookie is a small file that can be stored on your computer’s hard drive. You may choose not to save cookies by modifying your browser settings, but the online shopping process may not work in that case.
  12. You can modify or delete your personal information anytime. Simply go to the Your Account link located at the top of the upohaar.com homepage. You can update any of your personal information by choosing which information you would like to update; for example, your address book or reminder service. You will then be taken to where you can edit or submit new information.
  13. All services are subject to the following Refund Policy:
  • The customer or recipient has to notify us of any issue with any item or delivery service within 12 hours after delivery to qualify for any refund policy.
  • If product quality is in question, we will contact the product supplier and organize a replacement.
  • We are not responsible for preserving perishable products (cake, flowers, food items, and other products) after delivery. Perishable items will be not subject to any refund if haven’t been preserved properly after delivery.
  • If not all the items in delivery are qualified for a refund, you will receive a refund for that item only, not the whole order.
  • Refunds will be sent to the credit card or the bank account that you have paid from. The refund amount will not be given/delivered to the recipient.
  • You (customer) are placing an order after choosing it as your preferred gift to the recipient. Upohaar is not responsible for the recipient’s choice. Delivered items will not be subject to refund if a conflict with the recipient’s choice.
  • A gift delivery service will not be subject to refund if the recipient refuses to accept the gift.
  • You have the option at checkout to select a time window in a day to select as your delivery time. Upohaar holds the right to alter delivery time depending on the current situation, such as flood, traffic, etc. Your order will not be subject to a refund if it is delivered within your selected delivery date. Your order can be subject to refund if we fail or unable to deliver on the delivery date that you have selected during the order.
  • Products such as flower bouquets, cake designs can vary from the advertised designs on our site due to different seasons in Bangladesh, different or new chefs in a bakery, etc. Such products will not be subject to refund as long it is almost similar to the advertised product.
  • You will receive a full refund if we refuse/cancel an order that you have paid for.
  • You will receive a full refund if we are unable to deliver your order on your selected date.
